01 · Design
Where the water runs after a storm. Where the sun sits in July. Where people actually walk. You get a plan drawn to scale with a plant list and a price, and we build from it.
02 · Patios, walls & paths
Flagstone and fieldstone patios, fire pits, seat walls, steps and retaining walls, built on a compacted base so they stay flat through years of freeze, thaw and clay movement.
03 · Planting
Trees, shrubs and perennials set with the root flare at the surface — not buried — in soil loosened well past the root ball. Fall is the best time to plant here; we’ll tell you if spring is fine for what you want.
04 · Drainage
Water in the crawlspace, a soggy low spot, a slope washing out. We find where it’s coming from first, then regrade, run French drains and downspout lines, or build a dry creek bed that looks like it belongs.
05 · Lawns
New lawns from sod or seed, and renovations for tired ones. Tall fescue where there’s shade, Bermuda or zoysia where it’s sunny — picked for your yard, not for the bag on sale.
06 · Landscape lighting
Low-voltage LED lighting for paths, steps, trees and walls. Safer footing at night, and a garden you can still enjoy after the sun goes down.

We walk the property with you: sun, slope, soil, drainage, and how you actually use the yard.

Grading and drainage first, then hardscape, then planting — in the order that keeps the work clean.

Fall. Trees and shrubs planted from late September through November grow roots all winter. Spring works too if you can keep up with watering through the first summer.
